Meeting called to order by Paul Muth at 6:33 pm, all seconded. 

Minutes from March were approved by Paul and all seconded.

The Treasurer’s report for April 7th was read and approved. Paul motioned and Jason seconded.  

Checks were signed.

Barbara Taylor stated there are five unpaid tax bills.

Business

  • Grace Simrall came to the meeting regarding a fiber optic company, T-Mobile.  She spoke to the council about wanting to come into Moorland to run fiber through all the streets.  Paul brought up concerns of contractor issues, Grace said it was in Indiana.  Commissioners discussed getting feedback from homeowners but after discussion, all in attendance were against having another fiber company tear up yards. 
  • Street lights are repaired.  The water leak at the front entrance had been repaired.
  • A person was interested in footage from the cameras.  Due to the ordinance agreed upon, Paul requested a subpoena.  It was received and footage will be provided.
  • Paul will trim the bushes at the entrance around Derby.  He has requested funds for mulch and roundup, all agreed.  
  • June 2nd is the deadline for commissioners to be on the ballot.
  • 1712 Ashmoor has received complaints on yard length and wood logs in the yard.  A letter will be sent.

Paul motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:58 pm.Next meeting May 5, 6:30 pm in person at Northeast Library.
