Business
- Creek rock in the easement is blocking the flow of water and will need to be removed. A resident is interested in doing the work to remove if the owner does not remove in a timely manner and the city will need to contact removal.
- The AT&T line was cut as well as the LG&E line when the water main was repaired. Work was being done as of the meeting to repair. LG&E was out to inspect lights at the entrance that are out. Paul will reach out to the Louisville water company about the water pooling at the entrance to Moorland.
- The street sign that needed welding has been repaired and hung.
- Emails went to all Commissioners to get on the ballot in the next election. All elected officials are up for reelection. Receipts will need to be turned in for reimbursement.
- Paul updated the information he received on the road work at the entrance. It is two projects. One project is the sidewalk, bike lane, and landscaping. The second is the utility poles and the roadwork with turning lanes onto Whipps Mill and into the Moorland neighborhood. The road project is still having problems moving forward due to issues/agreements with CSX.
- A resident thanked the city for the leaf removal. He received a letter from the city about a pallet of lava rock in his front yard. He explained that he had a hip replacement and with the weather he has been delayed but he will get the project done as quickly as he is able.
Paul motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:15pm.
Next meeting April 7, 6:30 pm in person at Northeast Library.
