Business

  • Barbara Taylor needs a new check book, as the one she has been using is falling apart.  All commissioners agreed.
  • The invoice for the sidewalk has not been paid yet.  There was damage to a resident lawn and when it is repaired then the payment will be made.
  • A resident brought attention to the board about a Claremoor resident that has creek rock in the MSD easement, blocking the flow of water.  The board will wait for MSD to come and clear the areas they agreed and if they do not clear the creek rock then the board will move to have it removed and bill the resident.
  • Multiple residents have complained about a resident that has concrete markers in the area of the lawn next to the street.  Discussion of whether it is lawful or not ensued.  Commissioners will research if Moorland or Jefferson County has ordinances pertaining to these objects.  If so, then a letter will be sent to the resident.
  • Discussion of hiring a company to do leaf removal has been brought to the board.  The quote is $5k for two pickups, one around Thanksgiving and another around Christmas.  The company did not have the apartments in the bid so Paul will ask for new quotes and also ask them to bid on the snow removal for the new year.  Paul motioned on having leaf removal and all commissioners agreed.  Paul suggested having signs made to make residents aware of leaf pick up, which would be at the end of yards at the street.
  • Tony is quoting the same price for snow removal as last year.  Barbara Taylor said she needs the actual bid for the new year.  She would like it  to be posted in the CJ but the board agreed to post on Nextdoor instead.
  • Since we needed a new commissioner the board has agreed to vote in Barbara Harner.  Jason was absent, Kevin called him to check if he had any objections.  All commissioners agreed and Barbara Harner was sworn into office.
  • Kevin asked what the additional concrete quote was to bring the sidewalks up to ADA standards.  Paul will get the quote to discuss at the next meeting.
  • Discussed the camera angles and that no one has complained about the angles.
  • Kevin brought attention to the mulch that was left over in a residents yard on Claremoor.  A letter will be sent.
  • A resident complains about a resident that has very high grass and a letter will be sent.
  • Someone brought forth a garage that has never had a permit, a letter will be sent.

Paul motioned to adjourn the meeting and Kevin seconded.  Meeting adjourned. The next meeting is December 2, at 6:30 pm in person at Northeast Library.
